Our next YTT starts in March 2025 and is one weekend per month for a year, led by Becky Farbstein. Read on to learn more about each faculty teacher, their influences, specialisations and the modules they teach.
Hello, 2025 Vinyasa Yoga 12-month YTT Faculty!
Becky Farbstein : Lead Teacher
Senior Yoga Teacher, Becky combines a modern understanding of the body, and how this can be applied to a physical asana practice, with a deep respect for the classical traditions of yoga. She is grateful to all her mentors and teachers, especially Jason Crandell, who is a constant source of inspiration for how to teach and practice yoga in an intelligent, accessible, grounded way.
Erin Prichard : Assists
Erin is a 500hr qualified teacher with over 20 years experience. In that time she’s taught yoga in prisons, schools, and lecture halls, as well as leading many other teacher trainings herself. Erin’s mains styles are Yogasana and Vinyasa Krama, taught with a strong focus on philosophy and inclusivity. She will be guiding you through how to offer assists to your students.
Austin Ince : Asana Lab
Austin will work alongside Becky for Asana Lab sessions. Austin is a 500hr qualified teacher with a specialisation in Yin Yoga. If this piques your interest, you may like to go on to take a 50hr CPD and become a Fully Qualified Yin Teacher after you complete your 200hr!
Shamita Ray : Sanskrit
Shamita will share her wisdom on the ancient language of Sanskrit. Shamita’s intricate knowledge of sound makes her a perfect teacher for this alpha-sonic tongue. She is a 500hr teacher, who has also devoted herself to the completion of a Masters in the traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS University. Shamita will help you to understand the fundamentals of Sanskrit, as well as the techniques and values of bringing Sanskrit into your classes.
Rishin Paonaskar : Restorative Yoga + Cultural Appropriation
Rishin is a 500hr qualified teacher, with a specialisation in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Your training includes a Restorative workshop with Rishin discovering the benefits of this practice. He will also host an open discussion about Cultural Appropriation in Yoga.
Rebekah Jade : Music + The Nervous System
Dr. Rebekah is a highly accomplished individual in both the yoga and medical worlds, as well as being a Nike trainer, DJ, and community founder. She will be taking you through a workshop on the relationship between Music and the Nervous System, drawing on her intimate knowledge of the medical and emotional body.
Mollie McClelland Morris : Intuitive Movement
Mollie is a Senior Yoga Teacher with over 20 years teaching experience. She trained in Forrest Yoga before going on to discover the Franklin method in 2012, an embodiment practice which helped to evolve her life-long dance training and somatic practices. Mollie will lead you through a workshop on Intuitive Movement to help you explore internal perception and experience.
Deepti Sastry : Chanting + Mantra
Deepti is a yoga and meditation teacher with over 2000 hours of training behind her. She specialises in Vedic chanting and mindfulness and will be teaching you about the traditions and values of chanting and mantra. You can expect to explore the deeply profound healing effects of mantra, as well as consider how to bring this into your own space. Deepti has a sincere and abiding faith in the yoga and chanting traditions, and cannot wait to share it with you.
Tara Lee and Clare Daniell : Intergrating Pre/Postnatal Students
Tara Lee and Clare Daniell have worked together for over 8 years running workshops and trainings for teachers, specialising in Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga. During the Yogarise 200hr, you will get a taste of this as you discover how to accommodate, modify and integrate pregnant and postnatal students in to your vinyasa classes. After your training you may like to go on to do their pregnancy and postnatal CPDs as well.
Lolo Lam : Ayurveda + Anatomy
Lolo will introduce you to the fascinating worlds of both ayuverdic medicine and functional anatomy. With a background in nursing and specialisation in neurosurgery and intensive care, Lolo’s knowledge of the medical and wellbeing world perfectly straddles the Eastern and Western approaches. You can expect her to share experience, help you marry these two systems of thought, and integrate them into your practice or teaching.
