With experience of leading over 20 Rocket trainings around the world, and teaching for over 12 years, Leon London is excited to bring part 2 of his official 100-hour Level 1 Rocket training to Yogarise again in October.
Part 2 focuses on deep understanding and advanced teaching techniques, as well as an introduction to and learning to teach Rocket 2 and Rocket 3 classes.
Students will receive the tools to practise and lead a class with confidence, to assist and cue through a progressive and effective approach. They will also have the opportunity to deepen their own practice.

This Part 2 Rocket 50-hr training is an in-person training at a Yogarise Central London location on :

Level 1 is comprised of Part 1 (50-hr) and Part 2 (50-hr). All participants must have completed Part 1 with Leon London prior to attending Part 2.
Please note: Level 2 Rocket Training can only be completed with David Kyle.
Course Structure: What to Expect?
ASANA
• Introduction to and learn to teach Rocket 2 and Rocket 3 classes
• Arm balance workshop
• Breaking down techniques and drills for Rocket 2 poses and funky transitions
• Ashtanga second series exploration
• Backbend workshop; dropbacks, flipped grip and working towards Kapotasana.
• Handstands and advanced transitions into poses
• Development of personal style, creativity, and expression
• Learn to assist the more advanced asanas effectively, plus adjustment review
• Classic injury scenarios, reasons, rehab, and modification
• Savasana techniques and yoga nidra.
PHILOSOPHY & HISTORY
• History of Rocket yoga
• Usage and meaning of yogic mantras for personal development
• Lectures on the koshas and gunas
• The application of the Yoga Sutras in our teaching and daily life
PRANAYAMA & KRIYAS
• Advanced pranayama, visualisation, and meditation techniques
• Using the mala beads as meditation and a pranayama tool
• When and how to apply pranayama in personal practice and teachings

Here is a rough guide of your daily plan:

4:00 – 4:30pm – Break

Meet your teacher
Leon London teaches a unique style of Rocket, Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa and Dharma Yoga. Leon’s yoga classes are fun and flowing, with lots of arm balances and inversions.
He humbly cites Sri Dharma Mittra, David Kyle (Rocket), and David Swenson & Ryan Spielman, and in India Balu Thevar (Ashtanga) as his teachers, and thanks them for their knowledge.
Leon has over 25 years of experience in yoga, as well as training in various arts such as functional fitness, animal flow, capoeira, kettlebells, Indian clubs, callisthenics and boxing. He teaches in some of London’s best studios and runs yoga retreats and teacher trainings in Europe and beyond.

Is the course accredited?
If you are a yoga teacher, this Part 2 Level 1 course qualifies as 50 hours of CPD with Yoga Alliance US.
Upon completion of Level 1 : Part 1 and Part 2 you will receive an official 100-hour Rocket® certification with Leon London.
If you are working towards becoming a 500hr teacher and have completed your 150hr Advanced Teacher Training with Becky Farbstein & Erin Prichard, this course can go towards your 300hrs.
If you wish to complete your Level 2 Rocket Training, you must do this with Daivd Kyle after completing your Rocket Level 1 with Leon London.
Who would benefit from this training?
This training is designed for teachers with at least a 200-hour training and a dynamic practice, although can be enjoyed by those who want to deepen their practice.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes – a deposit of £100 followed by 4 instalments.
All training fees need to be settled before the 7th May.
Is there a manual included?
What if I can't make a session?
This training is all in person and will not be live streamed.
