November Yoga Workshops in London: Highlights

Spinal Alchemy: Transforming Tension into Freedom

with Lara Stapleton

Saturday 7th November 2026, 1:30-3:30pm at Yogarise Queen’s Park

Let go of back pain and step into healing as you discover gentle, intelligent movements that awaken the spine, release tension-holding patterns, and support long term back health. Think subtle spinal undulations, grounding awareness and playful exploration.

Inspired by Vanda Scaravelli’s revolutionary approach to yoga, Lara Stapleton emphasises mindful listening, gravity and breath as guides for safe, restorative movement.

This workshop is suitable for all levels, including those with back pain and discomfort.

Bind and Balance: A Deep Dive Into Shoulder Mobility and Strength

with Becky Farbstein

Saturday 14th November 2026, 1:30-3:30pm at Yogarise Peckham

Join Becky Farbestein as we explore ways to improve mobility in the shoulders and tackle common challenges with binding postures in yoga, such as Bird of Paradise and Bound Side Angle pose. Work to strengthen the shoulders and facilitate stability in arm balances, including Crow and Forearm Stand.

Open to all, and especially recommended to those of you who spend your lives hunched in front of desks and screens!

Group Sound Meditation: Deep Stillness

with Craig Rogerson

Sunday 15th November 2026, 7:45pm-9:45pm at Yogarise Queen’s Park

As the natural world continues to slow, November offers a reminder that rest has its own quiet wisdom. As winter arrives, this session with Soundworks’ Craig Rogerson creates a peaceful space to pause, replenish and simply be. It’s an opportunity to slow your pace, gather your energy, and prepare both mind and body for the quieter winter months ahead.

Return to Stillness

with Suzanne Pendlebury

Saturday 21st November 2026, 1:30-3:30pm at Yogarise Streatham

As we move into Winter, join us for a balanced practice of movement and stillness – an invitation to begin to slow down, turn awareness inwards and reconnect to yourself and the quiet wisdom that resides within you.

Open with a gentle vinyasa to ease into the body & create space, moving with breath and incorporating Myofascial release techniques. Gradually slow down into a yin practice and hold poses for extended periods, getting deeper into the body, shifting energy towards a quieter, calmer space and eventually moving into Yoga Nidra as you’re guided towards deep relaxation – a chance to nourish, renew & restore from within.
