Frequently Asked Questions (30DC Q&A)

Q: What is the Yogarise 30 Day Challenge?

A: The Yogarise 30-Day Challenge (30DC) is a supportive, community-focused initiative where you commit to completing 25 classes in 30 days. It runs at the start of 2026, and it’s a focused, structured way to deepen your practice, rapidly boost your fitness program (if that’s your goal) and create a lasting habit with our community across London.

Q: Why are you doing the 30 Day Challenge in January?

A: For some, January can be a great time to set intentions. We run the 30DC at the start of the year to provide the structure and motivation needed to turn those New Year goals into tangible routines. It’s the perfect antidote to the post-holiday slump and ensures you start the year with a renewed sense of purpose and energy to try new things!

Q: When can I sign up to the Yogarise 30 Day Challenge?

A: You can book your first class from 27th December until 15th January. This gives you flexibility to ease into the new year while still securing the dedicated 30-day period. The 30 days will be counted from the day you take your first session.

Q: What are the benefits of joining the 30 Day Challenge?

A: When you commit to 25 classes in 30 days, you can expect:

  • Habit formation: Moving beyond intention to making practice an automatic, non-negotiable part of your life.

  • Stress reduction: Consistent mindfulness and breathwork help maintain mental clarity and lower stress during the busiest time of the year.

  • Rapid results: Noticeable improvements in strength, flexibility, posture, and endurance.

  • Community & tracking: You gain public accountability by tracking your progress on our studio boards. For in-person sessions, grab your physical 30DC Stamper/Loyalty card from reception (Peckham, Queen’s Park, or Streatham) and remember to collect your class stamp or sticker from our front desk or your teacher every time to come in.

Q: I’m not sure “yoga” and “challenge” go together. Please explain!

A: That’s a great thought! At Yogarise, the “challenge” is not about competition, handstands, or complicated poses. It’s simply challenging yourself to show up consistently. The true challenge is building the discipline to prioritise your wellbeing for 25 yoga or pilates sessions. We encourage non-competitive, supportive attendance.

Q: Why 30 Days?

A: Thirty days is a widely acknowledged timeframe in behavioural science required to solidify a new habit. It is long enough to overcome initial resistance and see powerful physical results, but short enough to feel manageable and motivating.

Q: What if I can’t practise yoga or pilates on one of the days during the Challenge?

A: We understand life happens. The Challenge rules allow you to build in flexibility – we allocate 5 rest days within the 30-day challenge window. If you need to skip a day, simply use one of your allocated rest days.

Q: Can I have any rest days on the Yogarise 30 Day Challenge?

A: Yes, the Challenge runs for 30 days, and you are allowed up to 5 dedicated rest days within that time. This means you commit to 25 classes over the 30 days. This encourages vital physical recovery and ensures you avoid injury or burnout. You can also practise more restful classes such as Yin yoga, Flow + Restore or a Gong Bath Workshop which will all count towards the Challenge.

Q: I have never practised yoga. Can beginners join too?

A: Absolutely! The 30DC is an ideal way for beginners to jumpstart their journey. For yogis, we highly recommend using your unlimited access to explore Beginners’ Yoga, Yin, or Restorative classes to build your foundation safely and mindfully. In our Queen’s Park studio we also offer Level 1 Iyengar. If you’re new to Pilates, we have Reformer ‘Fundamentals’ classes in Queen’s Park and Peckham and also all levels Mat Pilates, which are the perfect place to build strong foundations .

Q: Can I bring a friend for free on the Challenge to support me?

A: Yes! If you join the 30DC using one of our Monthly Pre-Pay packages, you have the built-in benefit of one free monthly guest pass. We strongly encourage you to use this perk during the challenge, as practicing with a friend is proven to increase your chance of completion.

Q: Can I take part in the 30 Day Challenge if I do not have a Yogarise package or subscription?

A: Yes, this is the perfect opportunity! We have created two special, limited-time membership options just for the challenge:

  • 30DC Monthly Pre-Pay (£52.50 for Month 1): Unlimited Yoga, Mat Pilates, and Livestream classes. That’s only £2.10 per yoga class!

  • 30DC Platinum Pre-Pay (£125 for Month 1): Unlimited Reformer, Yoga, Mat Pilates, and Livestream classes. That’s only £5 per Reformer class!

Both options come with 50% off your entire first month and require a 3-month minimum commitment to secure your new habit.

Q: Can I do Reformer Pilates for the Yogarise 30 Day Challenge?

A: Yes! You should sign up for the 30DC Platinum Pre-Pay package. This gives you unlimited access to our Reformer Pilates classes as well as all our Yoga, Mat Pilates, and Livestream offerings, ensuring you get the most comprehensive and powerful results. You can also use your existing Platinum Pre-Pay subscription, or a Reformer Pilates Monthly package, Class Pack or the Reformer Intro Offer. Once you have used up your classes, get in touch for a special discount on your next package to finish the Challenge.

Q: Can I take part in the 30 Day Challenge online?

A: Yes. All Livestream classes (streamed live from our Peckham studio) count towards your 30 classes. This is ideal for days when you cannot make it into the studio due to work or weather.

Q: What if I can’t make it to the studio?

A: No worries if you can’t make it to Yogarise Peckham, Queen’s Park, or Streatham. Join us online instead! We offer Livestream classes every day so you can practise from the comfort of home, or wherever you are. These remote sessions count fully towards your 30 classes.

Q: What happens after the Yogarise 30 Day Challenge ends?

A: The goal is continuity! Since you sign up for the 30DC via a 3-month minimum commitment, your membership smoothly transitions to the full, standard monthly rate (£105 or £250) for the subsequent two months. This ensures the powerful habit you built in January remains supported through March.

Q: Where can I buy my 30 Day Challenge pass?

A: You can secure your 50% Off First Month enrollment perk by visiting our dedicated challenge membership page, or by speaking directly to our friendly reception team at Peckham, Queen’s Park, or over the phone for Streatham. Don’t delay – the start window closes on January 15th!

Q: Can I join the Challenge without buying a 30DC package?

A: Yes. If you have a Yogarise package, subscription or Intro Offer, you can still join us. Existing Pre-Pay holders who register for and complete the Challenge will get money off their next payment, and all Class Pack holders will receive a 15% discount off their next package (if they purchase during the Challenge).
